October 16: SmartSync with Tiago Forte

The average person spends 11 hours per day consuming information. In order to make the best of that time, you need a system for managing all that information.

Once you’re armed with an abundance of information, the creative process changes. Quality and quantity are no longer at odds with each other. The more you publish, the better the quality of your work. You can write more and spend less time at your computer.

When it comes to managing digital notes, Tiago is the very best. Informed by his teachings, I’ll publish more than 200,000 words this year (the equivalent of ~3 books) and I rarely write for more than 10 hours per week. And in this workshop, you’ll see my process for using capturing information and using it to write.

October 18: “How We Write essays” with Nik Sharma

Nik Sharma and I will showcase the process we’ve used to write multiple popular essays, including The Amazon Arbitrage and The Customer Acquisition Pricing Parade.

The workshop will last 60 minutes and we’ll have an outline for an article by the end of it. Then, I’ll record the process of turning that tweet-storm into a short essay, and send you the recording. This is as close as you’ll get to watching live writing.
